Bulgarian nature.

All the people told us that there were a beautiful lake near where we're living, so.. why don't go to see it!! These day we start to walk and we appeared in one beautiful place with a lof of bells, a bell for each country with differents sounds, later we continue walking, and... yes!!! Beautiful nature with beautiful company.

Slaveikov Square.

When the Latvian girl, Sniedze, arrived, we start to work in one street of Sofia. We were three weeks painting the benches of Slaveikov Square. For me it was incredible, because the people were all the time trying speak with us, and telling us the good work we were doing and many people wanted to help us to decorate the benches with the guidelines we gave them. It was amazing!!!!

We appeared on the TV too, because a very famous TV channel in Bulgaria wanted to make us an interview.

Be Active.

In the next days we were participating in a campaign with the name Be Active. We had to go to the metro station and to motivate to the people to take the stairs, not the mobile stairs or the elevator.
It was funny because was our first contact with Bugarian people and with the language.

Our first week.

In our first week, we were only the Italian girl, Chiara, and me. We had to wait another week more for to know our third room mate, so we decided to know each other more doing a Shisha/Cachimba the second night.

The other days we decided to cook beautiful things at home, to explore the citty, to try knew food and of course, to do our welcome party at home!!! 

But it wasn't only have fun, because in our first week we had our first work in the Children's hospital.

Our selves.

 First of all I want to present me. My name is Mª de la Concepción Fernández Celorio but I prefer that the people call me Conchi. I'm from Spain, Asturias. I was volunteer the last summer in Veliki Preslav (Bulgaria) and I was there 45 days, but for me was really short these time and I decided to do another but for 8 months in my beautiful Bulgaria, but this time in Sofia and with the same organization, Open Space Fundation. 

 Two weeks before we arrived here, Pepa, our boss, did a group on facebook for introduce us, these was the moment of the truth, we would know with whom we would live. One Italian girl and one Latvian girl. Sounds good!!

Chiara Bertoldi.

She is from Italy - Schio and she's 19 years old. My Chiarita finish the highschool and  she decided to do an EVS for think what she really want to do and what is her goals. She was playing a team of football. Like a good Italian, she loves pizza and of course pasta too.                                      

Sniedze Vīksna.

She is from Latvia - Ogre and she's 27 years old. She is our grandma, she is all the time clining the house, worry for us, and cooking vegetables. When one of us is sick, immediately she prepare one of her magicians Latvian tea that in two days we're ok. And.. of course she can't live without coffe.
